Symbolic Ceremony in a Private Garden in Paris

Merci encore Myriam !

“We really wanted to have a relaxed wedding, where we could feel fully ourselves, and have a celebration without spending a huge fortune. A garden wedding felt just right, and luckily the weather on the day was sunny and bright! Our dress code was quite relaxed, no top hats and tails just simple, classic, comfortable. I got my dress online from JCrew, only about 2 months before! and found a wonderful French couturiere to make a few adjustments and add a little touch of French lace at the waist, just to personalise it, and Matthew decided on a simple linen navy 3 piece suit.”

“Our families were so supportive and helped us out with lots of lovely personal details : my sister Kate made wedding invitations and name cards for the table, Matthew’s mum made metres of lovely bunting, our friend Estelle did all the flowers, my mum’s friend Joyce made her delicious peach layer cake, Matthew’s auntie made  a beautiful ring cushion from antique lace, my brother James did a brilliant music playlist. Our friends helped out a lot to get the venue ready on the day. It was really, really magic and special.”

How did you feel about your photography experience?
‘We are so pleased we found you!
You really made us feel so comfortable and did such a professional job, picking out so many lovely details and capturing the atmosphere perfectly. The photos just really reflect our happy memories of the day. Not only are there some beautiful portraits of the two of us together but it’s wonderful how you have captured so many candid moments with our family and friends, it’s exactly what we hoped for. We will really cherish them forever. Thank you so much  – we have had so many compliments about the photos and it’s fantastic to be able to share them with both our wedding guests and our friends who couldn’t be with us on the day. Can’t recommend you highly enough, such a talent!”

Wedding Suppliers Include:

Estelle Preston, who is a good friend of ours and also happens to be a top wedding florist! Estelle worked her magic for us on all the flowers – including my amazing wedding bouquet – and helped coordinate the decorations. We were very lucky to have her!

Myriam Serfass, the harpist,
who played such beautiful music for our wedding ceremony which was perfect for the late-summer garden setting.

Jean Sait, from Celebrants in France,
who put together such a meaningful and personalised wedding ceremony for us, which really encapsulated the commitment we were making to each other and what it was all about.

Shelley MacDonald from Paris Bread Co did a lovely buffet for us, working day and night to cater for 80 people. The food was just right for the relaxed and summery vibe that we were aiming for.  Synie’s Cupcakes for the cake/cupcakes.
